Precision Wallcovering & Painting was recently entrusted with the interior renovation of the common areas for Sunrise Senior Living, an assisted living facility in West Hills, California. Detailed commercial projects are a specialty of ours, and we excel at working on large scale projects. The facility’s owner wanted to update and refresh the look and feel, and Precision was able to call upon our 40 years of experience to get it done on time and on budget.
Though Precision is known for our expertise in painting and wallcovering, we are also a licensed, bonded, and insured general contractor. The construction portion of this project included replacement of finishes in the activity room, hair salon, nurses’ offices, common area restrooms, and the spa area. We removed and replaced the cabinets, as well as updated the plumbing, lighting, countertops, and flooring. Our supply and installation of new equipment included refrigerators, toilet room ADA compliance hardware, hair salon equipment, and the spa bath.
We also updated the paint and wallcovering throughout the facility, consisting of the dining rooms, common area restrooms, all business offices, unit corridors, and the grand foyer. In total, we painted 13,441 square feet of ceilings and 5,781 linear feet of trim. We also primed and installed 2,650 linear yards of vinyl wallcovering.
We think the results speak for themselves. The common living areas are warm and inviting with their use of earthtones, and the touches of green and natural textures give an impression of comfort and tranquility.
