The Project Process
Every good paint job begins with the pre-construction or planning phase. Whether its a remodel or new construction, following the proper sequence will determine how the finished product will look. To start this process, the correct materials are selected and color draw-downs/ samples will be generated and approved by the client. We will devise a plan to accommodate the other trades, if any, and get the project completed on schedule and on budget. In order to minimize trade damage to completed surfaces while working along sides other trades, it is very important to the sequence the project so that when we complete our final coat, no other trades are working on those surfaces.
When we begin the painting process, we always start by taking the time to protect flooring, furniture, equipment, inventory, and all areas we don’t want to paint. All surfaces will be prepared to industry standards before we apply the specified coating. Preparations include, masking, patching, sanding or priming. After we prepare the surface the desired standard, we finish it with a high-quality, durable paint selected for your project. Prior to completion our field manager does a walk through in ensure we adhere to the high quality standards Precision is known for. Finally, the job site will be completely cleaned up, and the client asked to do a final inspection.
